Alda Dalle Lucche
Graduated at Conservatory "L. Cherubini" in Florence summa cum laude. Her musical experiences move from the contemporary, under Berio and Henze to the avant-garde with Globokar, from chamber music (more than 15 years playing with the saxophone quartet "The Saxophones") to multimedia shows with actors.
She won international contests such as Kawai award in 1998 and Astor Piazzolla award in 1997 in Castelfidardo.
She cooperated with numerous orchestras including ORT (Regional Orchestra of Tuscany) playing at the Carnegie Hall in New York under Berio, Teatro Carlo Felice Orchestra in Genova, Italian Swiss Orchestra in Lugano, Teatro Lirico Orchestra in Cagliari and performed, among the others, under the conduction of Metha, Berio, Abbado, Prêtre, Maazel, Bychkov, Oren, Bartoletti.
Since 1997 she has played with Maggio Fiorentino Musicale Orchestra in Florence.
She teaches saxophone and chamber music at the music school in Fiesole.
Since 2002 she has been a Yamaha saxophone endorsee in Italy.
